This was such a fun wedding! This couple was the winner of the Q-102 Win A Wedding give away, and it was a real pleasure to work with them. They were so fun and creative. Their colors were fantastic, and their choices in flowers were so much fun. Patti's bouquet included Gold Strike roses, Mango calla lilies, and yellow Cymbidium orchids. Her bridesmaids' bouquets included mini Sunflowers and eucalyptus. See above.

Au Naturale!
This was a bouquet that I did for the upcoming Cincinnati Wedding magazine Fall/Winter edition. The photoshoot took place at a beautiful site in Indian Hill (make sure and get the magazine when it comes out in December...I don't want to give any more away)! The theme was "naturals", involving natural tones and elements. So, I used Terracotta, Porcelina and white Majolika roses, as well as antique Hydrangea and Snow Berries. I used a vintage fur clip at the top of the ribbon as a little accent decor. Steven Easley from Easley Blessed Photograpy (http://www.easleyblessed.com/), was nice enough to shoot a few pictures of it for me so that I could include it in my blog. As usual, I could not post just one picture...they're all so glorious!

From the Mind of a Child - Funny
Last weekend, a good friend of mine came into the shop with her two little boys. I was getting ready for a busy weekend of weddings, and had already finished the bouquets. One of the boys looked into my floral refrigerator and asked his mom if the bouquets were cake. And I began to think, that guess really makes a lot of sense for a four year old. One of the bouquets looks like it's made of different shades of white icing. And really, some bouquets are so lush and beautiful, they look good enough to eat!

Four Weddings, and it was Hot!!!
Wow...this past weekend was busy (10.6.07), and not to mention hot. I had four weddings! I don't usually take this many in one weekend, but only one of the weddings had centerpieces. Also, I have a fantastic group of people who help me orchestrate and fine tune each detail of each wedding. From flower selection, to design, to delivery and set up, I have a great crew of people.
I'd like to say thanks to Katie, Debbie, Carolyn, Aunt Patty, Suzy, and Sally for helping me with this very busy weekend. Everyone did a great job, and everything turned out beautiful!

Heather Milligan & Matt Gerker 10.6.07
Heather and Matt live in Maine, and have family locally. The wedding was set in beautiful, rural NKY in Matt's parent's back yard. These guys seemed to really have a love for everything natural, as evidenced in the flowers they chose for both the wedding party and the table decor. I really loved doing the centerpieces, and if I can get some pictures, I will post them. The centerpieces were bundles of fresh and very fragrant spiral eucalyptus tied with double faced satin, chocolate brown ribbon which flowed onto the table. The bride and groom surrounded the centerpieces with floating candles in glass containers with river rocks at the base. It was a really fresh, natural, and elegant look. I've never done table decor like it, and I must say, I really loved it.
Kramer - Maune Wedding 10.6.07
These (above) were the bridesmaids' bouquets for the Kramer - Maune wedding. The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown and carried Fall colored bouquets, consisting of Antique Hydrangea, Terracotta Roses, and Fall leaves...gorgeous!
Mary Kramer was great to work with, and had fantastic taste! She carried all white flowers, and her bridesmaids were in chocolate brown dresses and carried Fall colored bouquets. I loved her bouquet so much, I could not stop taking pictures of it...notice all the shots. Her bouquet consisted of Hydrangea, Roses, Cymbidium orchids, and Stephanotis. The bouquet was so fragrant and so beautiful, I wanted to make one for myself. :) The pictures were given to me by Bob White of White Imagery, http://whiteimagery.com. Aren't the pics fabulous!!!
