Amanda & Mark - Drees Pavillion

Another wedding from the past with photos by Daniel Michael of Images by Daniel Michael. Thank you!!! Amanda was one of my first brides who chose the yellow and gray color pallette, which I have done a few times since and I absolutely love.  I just love the ivories and soft yellows with silvery gray.  And yes, we're posting some blasts from the past since some of our favorite photogs have been kind enough to send them over to us (and not to mention the fact that our Summer interns have been busy requesting them and blogging away).

So, we're trying to be a little more diligent about posting events. So, hopefully, over the next few weeks, we will have several more fabulous events to showcase (from both last year and this year). This was a gorgeous wedding at the Dayton Art Institue. This venue has risen to be one of my top 10 favorite venues! Lindsay and Steve (the bride and groom) are very artsy and their flower choices definitely echoed that...lots of different designs and textures. In addition to the vendors indicated on the design boards, the event was expertly executed by Kristen & Rick Kloth of Tres Chic Events and the cake was designed by Barb Harvey of Incredible Endings!

I feel so lucky to have such great customers. Kim was a pleasure to work with and so organized. She knew what she wanted and the color palette she chose was gorgeous (plums, deep reds, and black)...so elegant. Kim is having her bouquet preserved, and I will post a picture of it once it's done...I think it will be stunning!
